Beloved Christians,

 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the well-wishes and greetings for the feast of Saint Demetrius. There were so many messages that I thought it best to write one letter to you all. I rejoice in your greetings, not only for myself, but more so for the fact that the Holy Great Martyr Demetrius is honored. Truly, those of you who pray to him will find great solace.

 

In return, I pray that Saint Demetrius will help you all to acquire the spiritual watch which is so necessary for us to attain salvation.

Αγαπητοί Χριστιανοί,

 

Θα ήθελα, με την ευκαιρία αυτή, να σας ευχαριστήσω όλους για τις ευχές και τους χαιρετισμούς σας για την εορτή του Αγίου Δημητρίου. Ήταν τόσα πολλά τα μηνύματα που θεώρησα καλύτερο να γράψω ένα γράμμα προς όλους σας. Xαίρομαι για τις ευχές, όχι μόνο προσωπικά, αλλά περισσότερο για το γεγονός πως τιμούμε τον Άγιο Μεγαλομάρτυρα Δημήτριο. Πραγματικά, όλοι όσοι τον επικαλείστε θα βρείτε μεγάλη παρηγοριά.
