His Beatitude, Archbishop Kallinikos of Athens and All-Greece headed the official representation of our Church to our Sister Church of Romania on Thursday June 13/26, 2014 for the Feast of St. Glicherie of Romania on Saturday, June 15/28.

His Eminence, Metropolitan Vlasie of Romania together with His Beatitude, Archbishop Kallinikos of Athens and All-Greece presided over the festivities for St. Glicherie the Confessor in Romania from Friday, June 14/27 to Sunday, June 16/29 together with other Hierarchs of the Genuine Orthodox Churches of Romania and Greece, including His Eminence, Metropolitan Demetrius of America.

Morning and Evening Prayers

Q. Are the prayers in the blue prayer book [A Prayerbook for Orthodox Christians by the Holy Transfiguration Monastery —ed.] compulsory for everyone? I mean their morning prayers and the service of Small Compline. My confessor gave me a special rule but wasn’t clear about whether this replaced the book prayers or was in addition to them.
