At the Cathedral Church of Boston and New England, on Sunday January 19/February 1, was celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the Feast of its patron Saint, Saint Mark Evgenikos of Ephesus. His Eminence Demetrius of America concelebrated the hierarchical Liturgy with His Eminence Moses of Toronto. Many faithful and clergy from New England and New York came to celebrate the feast of the great defender of Orthodoxy. During his sermon on the Publican and Pharisee, His Eminence warned about the dangers of zeal without knowledge which sometimes leads to deception and heresy, and stressed to all the faithful the importance of humility and to follow the example of the publican.
