Sunday of Thomas 2015 at the Cathedral of Saint Mark

With great and abundant joy, the parish of St. Mark celebrated the Feast of Sunday of Thomas with His Eminence Metropolitan Demetrius. Many clergy and faithful visited from as far as New York. The church still glowed with the radiant light seen and felt during Pascha. After the Divine Liturgy all the faithful continued the celebration with a festive meal. With God's help, this will become an annual tradition for the parish.

Q. Are the prayers in the blue prayer book [A Prayerbook for Orthodox Christians by the Holy Transfiguration Monastery —ed.] compulsory for everyone?
