St. Irene of Chrysovalantou Church in Washington Township, Michigan, has launched a new website using the same address: https://www.saint-irene.com They will be adding features and content in the coming months.

There is an important announcement on the homepage, about the parish's 10th anniversary celebration on St. Irene's feast day, the weekend of August 9-11 (n.s.), which will take the form of a spiritual retreat with lectures and discussions in addition to the divine services. Bartholomew Prays at Iftar

Iftar, refers to the evening meal when Muslims break their fast during the Islamic month of Ramadan. Iftar is one of the religious observances of Ramadan and is often done as a community, with people gathering to break their fast together. Iftar is done right after sunset.
